EAPG Goblet Adams Co 1881 Prayer Rug Good Luck Horseshoe Pattern Glass
This is a very nice Victorian goblet made about 1881 by the Adams Co. The Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) goes by at least 3 names – Prayer Rug, Good Luck, and Horseshoe based on the patterns in the glassware. Not all pieces in this pattern carry the horseshoe emblem and the goblet has only the “prayer rug”, some foliage, a band with raised dots at the top and some loops, and an interesting belt with a buckle at the bottom.
It measures 5 7/8” high and 3 3/8” in diameter (top) while the foot (base) is 3 1/8” across.
In very good condition. It is clean and clear with no scratches or cracks. There is a minor straw mark on the bottom of the cup portion and one very small chip on the underside of the foot.
SOLD AS IS – price reflects condition.
