Old Paris Porcelain Antique White Coffee Pot with Gold Trim Ivy Design

This is a superb old Paris porcelain china coffee pot. It shows all the fine qualities seen on the earlier 19th century Haviland Limoges pieces, but it is unmarked except for an “O” in relief on the bottom.

The coffee pot is decorated with a gilded band near the top and at the bottom, as well as on the spout and handle. The raised, molded design of ivy type leaves and small flowers on the base is also outlined with gold. The domed lid has a band of gold at the bottom and the finial as well as the raised design is also decorated in gold. There is a tiny piece of porcelain on the lid that protrudes to help keep the lid in place.

Measures about 9 ¼” high to the top of the finial and about 9 ¼” wide from the outside of the handle to the tip of the spout. The base diameter is almost 4”.

There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or staining and only minor wear to the gold decoration, as seen in the photos, mostly on the handle and tip of the spout.

*** Our stock #70311 – Covered Sugar Bowl – is a match to this coffee pot.
